About the Course

Experience a full day of holistic mind-body practices to super-charge your wellbeing as we head towards the Summer season. You can expect: 

 A warm welcome on arrival at this hidden gem of a studio, and a freshly brewed cuppa to help you settle in. 


 A vibrant, uplifting Vinyasa-style practice in the morning, enriched by ancient yet incredibly relevant teachings of pranayama (breathwork), philosphy and meditation. Annah will provide journalling prompts on completion of the practice to support you in setting your intentions for the Summer season. 


 A delicious seasonal lunch, artfully prepared by Riverford Field Kitchen chef, Hannah, with plenty of time to get to know your fellow yogis around a friendly feasting table. 

 Annah will offer a short, practical nutritional health workshop, covering key areas to optimise gut health and energy levels naturally.


 An opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of Buckfast with a ramble along the River Dart (optional) 


 A restorative Yin-style practice in the afternoon, with a fully guided Yoga Nidra meditation to finish. 


 Afternoon chai and cake to re-awaken your senses and send you on your way full to the brim with life-loving energy. 


Mats and props can be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Plenty of free parking onsite.

Annah Herbert

Annah Herbert

Annah is an experienced yoga teacher with over 12 years facilitating classes, events and specialist workshops in the UK and beyond.

Her teaching style is both dynamic and restorative, providing space, time and guidance for you to move, breathe and reconnect with yourself - physically, mindfully and emotionally. She has trained and practised extensively in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal and Postnatal yoga, Anatomy & Physiology, Philosophy and Meditation.

Her wish is that each and every individual entering a yoga session leaves feeling nourished, uplifted and restored. All levels of experience are welcome, from beginners to regular practitioners, as sessions are tailored to the needs of the group.

Annah is also a practising nutritionist, currently working with a charity supporting children’s health & wellbeing. She has a keen interest in simplifying and clarifying what often appears as conflicting nutritional advice, encouraging people to eat intuitively and take control of their own health through holistic lifestyle practices which support the body, mind and emotional wellbeing.
