This one’s special.
A 3.5km family-friendly route through some of Dartmoor’s most magical landscapes—lush woodland, open moorland, and the stunning Venford Brook. Most people know Venford Reservoir, but not many explore the brook itself, and it’s easily one of the most breathtaking hidden gems on the moors. Expect bright green moss-covered rocks, crystal-clear pools, gentle streams, and a mix of wide paths and stepped trails leading down to the River Dart.
This Easter weekend walk is perfect for families—kids aged 5+ can manage it on foot, and little ones can come along in carriers. It’s a chance to meet like-minded people, take in the start of spring, and enjoy one of the most beautiful woodland walks on the moors.
