Yes. Half-day desk hire is available for £12.50 per visit. If you need several shorter visits each month, our 5 half-day package is £50 and our 10 half-day package is £80. Half-day sessions and available desks can be selected through our booking calendar. It's a practical option if you only need a few hours away from your home office.

A desk booking gives you a place in our light-filled, open-plan workspace overlooking the River Dart in Buckfastleigh. You'll have fast Wi-Fi, power, access to monitors and useful cables or adapters, shared kitchen facilities, tea and coffee, and use of our printer. There is also a shared area for meetings and space for calls, subject to availability.

Yes. CoWorking Devon has a high-speed gigabit broadband connection, Wi-Fi throughout the coworking space and Ethernet options for people who prefer a wired connection. Your actual wireless speed depends on your device and the network at the time. We have monitors, adapters and a quieter call area too, making the space well suited to remote working, freelancers and online meetings.

Yes. Our shared workspace has a quieter room for Zoom or phone calls and a conference or meeting area that coworkers can use when available. These areas are shared, so they are not guaranteed to be empty or soundproof all day. Please arrange longer meetings with us in advance and be considerate of others taking calls or concentrating nearby.

Our 4, 8 and 12-day packages and half-day bundles are valid for one month from purchase, so they're ideal for flexible working without committing indefinitely. Unlimited coworking is a recurring monthly subscription until you cancel. Please check each plan's checkout details before purchasing, particularly its validity and booking conditions.

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at CoWorking Devon. We ask owners to keep their dogs under control, respect other coworkers and clean up after them. As this is a shared working environment, please consider anyone who may not be comfortable around dogs.
You can see what the workspace looks like on our coworking workspaces page.
We have laptop stands and portable standing-desk risers that can be requested, rather than a permanently adjustable standing desk at every workstation. We also have a selection of screens, leads and other desk accessories available to use in the coworking space. If you need a particular setup for health or accessibility reasons, ask us before booking and we'll explain what's possible.
Standard coworking desk bookings and memberships are for our normal weekday opening hours. They do not automatically include a building key or unrestricted evening and weekend access. Private office arrangements may be different. If you have a particular early start or late finish in mind, contact us and we'll let you know whether we can accommodate it.
You can manage eligible desk bookings through your CoWorking Devon account. Please give at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling so your booking credit or payment is not lost; cancellations made inside that window may still use the credit. Where possible, use the reschedule option rather than simply not attending.

Yes. Our Employer Plan is designed for teams of three or more who want flexible desk use in Buckfastleigh without maintaining a separate office. We can arrange shared monthly booking credits for staff, with an employer discount on the agreed plan. It's a good fit for hybrid teams and businesses with occasional office days.
Ask us about an Employer Plan.
Yes. Your Unlimited membership covers your eligible weekday desk use, but you still need to reserve the individual days you plan to attend so everyone can see which desks are available. Log in to your account and use the full-day booking calendar. If you've arranged a dedicated desk, we'll explain any different booking arrangements when setting it up.
For regular coworkers, particularly on our Unlimited plan, we can sometimes arrange a dedicated desk rather than hot-desking each visit. With prior agreement, you may be able to leave your monitor or desktop computer set up overnight. It's still a shared coworking environment, not a private lockable office, and access is only during the agreed hours. Please contact us to discuss availability and the equipment you want to leave.
We have monitors, keyboards, mice, laptop stands, cables and adaptors that coworkers can use, subject to availability. If you're travelling light or need particular connections for a MacBook or other laptop, let us know what equipment you need before booking so we can check the setup. Ask about the workspace facilities or book your desk.
Yes. Teams can book multiple desks for training, project work or a few days together, subject to availability. If you want colleagues seated near each other, contact us first so we can help choose the right desks. For teams of three or more using the space regularly, we can also discuss an Employer Plan. Enquire about team coworking.
Not necessarily. Normal conversations and video calls are part of coworking life, and our shared areas can suit collaborative working. However, the studio is open plan and the quieter call and meeting spaces are shared, not guaranteed private or soundproof. If you'll be speaking continuously, training people or discussing confidential information, tell us about your requirements and we'll help you choose the best option.
Yes. The trial is designed to let you experience the coworking space without committing to a paid plan, so you're welcome to stay for a shorter visit if that's all your schedule allows. Please still book your trial day in advance and let us know when you'd like to arrive. Apply for your free trial day.
Our usual opening times are 8:50am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:50am to 4:30pm Friday. We can sometimes agree an earlier arrival for an established member when there's a suitable access arrangement, but early access is not included automatically in a desk pass or membership. Ask us about your working hours before planning an early start.
We have flexible desks in shared coworking areas, alongside some separate private office space. The availability of private offices changes, so please ask us directly if you need a lockable room, a permanent desk or somewhere to leave equipment. If you simply need an occasional workspace, our coworking desk plans are the quickest option.
