About the Event:

Join us in celebrating Beltane in community! Come to the forest and experience songs, music, poetry and storytelling beside the fire. We gather to honour the 'cross-quarter' festival of Beltane, named for the sun now shining with heat. This season heralds the fertility and bursting potential of the land about us and within ourselves. It is an ancestral rite to honour this change in the season. We will gather with joy and ceremony to reach out for what we desire at this time when the 'veil is thin'! This season we are delighted to be joined by songstress Tallulah Rendall bringing her beautiful music to the woodlands, and Dartmoor poet Tobias Aisbitt-Waugh promises poetry inspired by wild and mythic places.

About the Host:

This is hosted by the Totnes Wheel of the Year Collective; ceremonialists Michelle Cadby and Madeleine Honour, and Bard of Totnes Adam Powell.
